The stay-in-your-car oil change franchise recently climbed the ranks on the Franchise Times’ Top 400 and Entrepreneur’s Franchise 500 lists. The rise in recognition preceded the grand opening of Take 5 Oil Change’s 300th franchise location in the U.S. on October 20, 2023.
With a significant leap to #87 from Take 5 Oil Change's previous ranking of #134 on the Franchise Times Top 400 in 2022, the brand has made great strides in its mission to become a leading franchise since opening its first franchise location in 2017. The franchise’s impressive growth trajectory is underscored by its overall rank as the fifth fastest growing franchise by sales growth (47.6%), and the eighth fastest growing franchise by store count (20.2%). Take 5 Oil Change also moved up over 50 spots from its previous ranking to #106 on Entrepreneur’s Franchise 500 list for 2023.

The grand opening of the 300th franchised Take 5 Oil Change in the U.S. took place in Decatur, Georgia, thanks to the dedicated efforts of the Toxaway Automotive Group. This marks the 11th Take 5 Oil Change shop opened by the franchise group, which embarked on their journey with the brand in 2020. This achievement represents just one of the many milestones on the horizon for Take 5 Oil Change, with its current pipeline of 300 upcoming locations, with the majority franchise owned. The brand currently operates more than 900 shops across the U.S. and Canada.
